Take Action!

Frequently return to this page to make sure that you participate in all actions to help preserve and protect our neighborhood.

IMPORTANT! Sign the petition to protect on-street parking in the neighborhood. The City is considering removing on-street parking on Elenda Street. This is a direct threat to our ability to access our own homes. Many homes do not have driveways and the alleyways are non-functional. After signing the petition, you will receive a confirmation email from Adobe Sign to verify your information.

Enhance access to the school but leave the neighborhood alone. Both the school board and the city leaders need to hear from you about simple ideas to alleviate the dropoff/pickup traffic. For years, the school district has pushed their traffic onto the residential streets. Click the button to open a pre-written email ready to send.

The City and the consultants provided a list of possible changes to the neighborhood. We recommend that you select 'NO CHANGES' and 'SCHOOL ACCESS AND LOADING MANAGEMENT' since those options would ask the school district to become a better neighbor and bear the responsibility of managing their traffic on their campuses.

Save the Trees! Our neighborhood is being attacked (again) by outside regional activist groups who insist on replacing 90-year old trees with a plastic bike lane. You can help fight against this madness. Click the button to open a pre-written email ready to send.

The City continues to discuss removing on-street parking. This is a major accessibility issue. Click the button to email the Culver City Disability Advisory Committee and request that they get involved to protect our rights.

The consultants running the traffic study have a webpage where we can provide feedback directly to them about the kinds of ideas we would like to see in the neighborhood. We recommend that you tell them to continue to urge the school district to open their access gates and to preserve residential on-street parking.
